Synoptic Situation:
According to latest Meteorological
Analysis Monsoon currents from Arabian Sea are reaching upper parts of
the country. Monsoon trough lies over Northern states of India. Seasonal low is likely to
become well marked during next 24-48 hours.
Islamabad & Punjab:
Scattered Thunderstorm-Rain,
with isolated heavy falls, expected in Upper Punjab
including Islamabad intermittently during
next few days.
Kashmir (including
earthquake affected areas):
Scattered Thunderstorm-Rain,
with isolated heavy falls expected in Kashmir intermittently
during next few days.
N.W.F.P:
Scattered Thunderstorm-Rain,
with isolated heavy falls, expected in Upper NWFP intermittently
during next few days.
Sindh:
Hot & Dry weather expected in most parts of the province during
next 03-04 days.
Balochistan:
Hot & Dry weather expected in most parts of the
province during 03-04 days
Northern Areas:
Dry weather expected in most parts of Northern Areas during next few
days.

Seasonal low persists over Balochistan
and adjoining areas and weak monsoon currents are reaching upper parts of the
country.
Islamabad & Punjab:
Hot & Dry weather expected
in most parts of Punjab during next 24-48 hours. However
isolated Thunderstorm-Rain may occur in Upper Punjab
including Islamabad tonight.
Kashmir (including
earthquake affected areas):
Isolated Thunderstorm Rain may
occur in Kashmir during next 24-48 hours.

Dry weather expected in most
parts of NWFP during next 24-48 hours.
